Dear readers,
The first month of 2025 is already over. Time for a little reflection: How did your Pacing or No-Crash Challenge go?
Perhaps you've made progress, celebrated small victories, or discovered strategies that work well for you. Maybe there were moments when things didn't go as planned. That's completely normal. Pacing isn't about perfection, it's a learning process – and every step, even the challenging ones, counts.
My personal experience: When life gets in the way
Things didn't go perfectly for me either. Construction workers in the neighboring apartment caused loud, early wake-ups – and suddenly, I didn't get enough sleep. The result: a crash.
Was I disappointed? Yes. But more importantly, I realized: Some things are beyond our control. In such moments, self-blame doesn't help. Compassion for yourself and the situation is crucial. It's not about avoiding setbacks, but learning how to handle them.
Key takeaways for pacing:
There are no perfect conditions. Let's learn to stay flexible.
Compassion is part of the process. Setbacks aren't failures; they're learning opportunities.
Even small progress is a success. Every mindful moment counts.
